Intentional Inclusion

Courageous Conversations Influencer Training

Course Description

Diversity is being invited to the party. Inclusion is being asked to dance.”  Vernā Myers

This course is designed for leadership and high potential employees who will be teaching and/or facilitating discussion around D&I topics at work.

Engaging in discussions around racial inequality can be difficult, but this is exactly why they need to happen. Consider how instances like George Floyd’s death have sparked a need for these dialogues, inspiring the calling for an understanding of why these actions are taking place and how to address them in the workplace. This multi-session virtual course brings a wide range of injustices into focus, including but not limited to those pertaining to race and exploring their implications in the workplace.

This course is designed to encourage and engage participants in a thoughtful, compassionate exploration of the realities of race, racism and general injustice. This course addresses the fact that listening without an agenda other than to understand is at the heart of compassion and inclusion. Genuinely listening and embracing the courage to speak can be the difference between being another cog in the wheel or paving the way for a brighter, better tomorrow.
