About Chisa

Meet Chisa Miller, a woman leading with passion and teaching for change. As an accomplished trainer, facilitator and public speaker, Chisa brings a big bundle of enthusiasm and energy into every room. Prior to dedicating her life to diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) education, you could find Chisa in Las Vegas working as the Casino Operations Manager at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. It was under this role that she attended, and fell in love with, her first inclusion and diversity class, opening the doors for her true calling and leading her to where she is today.

Chisa is a woman on a mission to impact the way we interact with and understand each other. She believes in the power of story-telling and the willingness to listen to others. She strives to help others unlock their full potential, encouraging them to make the decision to rise up and show up for what they believe in. She stands by the importance of seeing the humanness in others, guided by the principle that we do not have to be “one of” to “stand with.”

WHY US?

Here at Chisa Marie Consulting, we are real people who have real (sometimes hard and uncomfortable) conversations in hopes of sparking real change. When you work with us, you are choosing a dynamic team of movers and shakers on a mission to change the way we approach systems of thought no longer serving us today. Despite the increasing distractions we face in the fast-paced modern world, we believe in the power of truth and the power of people.
We work to help people understand that change begins when we leave our comfort zone.

The “Why” Behind Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

Diversity in the workplace provides major benefits to any organization. Diversity refers to various factors including, but not limited to: gender, age, race, cultural background, religion and education. The greater the mix of people in your organization, the broader the range of skills, experiences, perspectives and ideas you and your team can draw on. It’s no wonder diversity is linked to increased motivation and performance. Think of the elevated creativity and problem-solving diversity can bring. Consider the culture and community diversity can foster.  However, it is important to note that simply having diversity and engaging in equality is not enough. The benefits of diversity and equality are fully realized only when inclusion is embedded in the workplace.

Inclusion means more than putting a policy in place. It does not automatically stem from diversity, but instead requires intentional design and daily practice. Inclusion in the workplace means all team members are treated fairly and met with mutual respect. Everyone has equal access to opportunities and resources. Each person plays a role in the organization’s mission and is a contributing member to the organization’s success.

Let’s get there together.
